I’m Jazzie –
A Writer, Advocate, and Survivor of Sexual Abuse

Welcome to my blog! My name is Jazzie, and I’m a writer, advocate, and survivor of sexual trauma. I started this blog as a way to share my experiences and insights with others who may be going through similar struggles.

My Story

Like many survivors of sexual trauma, I struggled for years with feelings of shame, guilt, and isolation. However, through therapy for sexual trauma, self-care practices, and advocacy for survivors, I have found a path to healing and recovery.

My Writing

My writing is inspired by my own experiences, as well as the stories and struggles of other survivors. I believe that sharing our stories and speaking out about sexual trauma is a powerful way to break the silence and create change.

My writing covers a range of topics related to healing and recovery from sexual trauma, advocacy, and self-care. I also write about other topics related to mental health and wellness, relationships, and personal growth.

My Advocacy

As an advocate, I work to raise awareness about sexual trauma and to support survivors in their healing and recovery. I am a volunteer at a local rape crisis center and have worked on campaigns to raise awareness about sexual assault and harassment.

Thank you for visiting my blog, and I hope that my writing can be a source of support and inspiration to you.

My Approach

When working with or supporting assault victims, it is important to prioritize their safety and well-being. This can include providing access to resources such as medical care, legal resources, and mental health support. It is also important to create a safe and non-judgmental space where victims can feel heard and validated in their experiences.

My Skills

Clear and effective communication involves using language that is easy to understand, avoiding jargon or technical terms that may not be familiar to others. It also involves organizing information in a logical and coherent way, using appropriate tone and body language, and being aware of cultural differences that may affect communication.
